Quality

Our extensive wine list is built off of hours of wine tasting and discussions with our wine distributors.  We aim to offer a vast selection so everyone who walks into our wine bar can find a wine to enjoy.

wine is for

Everyone

We believe wine is something everyone can enjoy. It makes life a little sweeter. No pretenses here. Our wine staff will work with you to find a wine that you will enjoy from our vast selection.  Let us help you find a wine to enjoy or expand your palate.

Featured Wine

#1 Grown Grape

Cabernet
Sauvignon

The classic profile of Cabernet Sauvignon tends to be full-bodied wines with high tannins and noticeable acidity that contributes to the wine’s aging potential. In cooler climates, Cabernet Sauvignon tends to produce wines with blackcurrant notes that can be accompanied by green bell pepper notes, mint, and cedar which will all become more pronounced as the wine ages. In more moderate climates the black currant notes are often seen with black cherry and black olive notes while in very hot climates the currant flavors can veer towards the over-ripe and “jammy” side.

Taste

Full-bodied with loads of flavors. It tops the list of robust red varietals, carrying some of the lushest, thickest sips that will coat most of the mouth and linger. Many describe cabernet sauvignon’s body as unctuous, gravelly, rich, and deep.

Pairings

Our Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with all of our charcuterie boards.  We always have one on tap and also carry many other bottles as well.

"Mary Kate's stands for great wine and good times"

"My favorite part of visiting is knowing I will be traveling the world in a glass of wine while staying seated in a warm, comfortable atmosphere."

"Amazing wine selection! Wines by a flight, on tap, by the glass and bottle. Wonderful charcuterie boards, sweet or savory. Great decor and ambience! The bartenders really know their wines and help you make the best selections. Owners Katie and John do it right!! A must experience on Main street in downtown Eagle River!!"

"Nice place! Very classy but relaxing. Huge selection of wine and priced right. People are very friendly and helpful with a good knowledge of wine! Parking is good on wall street and around the corner. Will go back as often as I can."

Events

We hold wine events on the first Tuesday of the month.  At these events, we sample great wines, enjoy snack pairings, good conversation, and wine education.
