Bubbles burst with raspberry and wild strawberry before the palate gets into gear with racy acidity and an inherent freshness.
 
2007 Dorigati Methius Brut Riserva, Trentino, Italy – This brut sparkling wine is made with Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes. It is complex with a nose of vanilla and butter. In the mouth you’ll taste apricot jam and green apple. This wine will cellar nicely.
 
2018 Bouvet Signature Brut, Loire France – NEW – Pale straw in color with fine, pinpoint bubbles, the wine offers toast and fruit on the nose along with crisp citrus notes. Well-balanced acidity culminates in an elegant, persistent finish.

2019 Anterra Moscato, delle Venezie, Veneto, Italy
This Moscato has scents of gardenia and peaches, with flavors of apricot and passion fruit. It is fresh, clean and fruity.
 
2020 Martin Weyrich Moscato Allegro, California
California’s premier Muscat Canelli based wine. Fermentation at an extremely cold temperature creates a wine which dances across the palate. Fresh and spicy, with exotic floral and fruit aromas of apricots and peaches with a crisp, lingering finish.
 
Santo Moscato D’Asti, Piedmonte, Italy – NEW – A sweet, white wine with a straw-yellow color, it has an intensely fruity, aromatic and very persistent nose, while its sweet flavor is perfectly balanced with its low alcoholic content (5% vol.) and its acidity, which is never very high but provides the product with an inviting freshness.

2019 Terlato Family Pinot Grigio, Italy – This wine is light gold in color with bright notes of white peach, pear and spring flowers. Complex and layered with ripe peach, pear, citrus and a mouth filling texture with crisp mineral finish.
 
Wine Fact: Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are the same grape and developed as a mutation of Pinot Noir. The Pinot Gris of France became the Pinot Grigio of Italy when it was planted in Italy.
 
2019 Kracher Pinot Gris, Burgenland, Austria – NEW – This wine has an easy nose of melon, green apples, citrus, honey and minerals along with a juicy and fruity palate. It has medium body and acidity along with tastes of tropical fruits and melon with a bit of a spicy finish.
 
2018 Etude Pinot Gris, Carneros AVA, California – NEW – This classic Pinot Gris offers lovely tree blossom aromatics with tropical notes delicately interwoven into this refreshing spring and summer sipper. Guava, kiwi, feijoa, passion fruit and lychee jump from the glass, while light apricot and Meyer lemon citrus and kaffir lime come through on the palate, supported by a chalky minerality.
 
2018 Lugana Maiolo, Trebbiano di Lugana, Lombardia, Italy – NEW – This wine is delicate, dry and fresh, with tones of white almond and apple. It has floral notes that bloom in the glass, along with the essence of apricot and a hint of almond. It is elegant and light-bodied. Made from 100% Trebbiano grapes.
 
2018 Don Olegario, Albariño, Galicia, Spain – Chunky aromas of white fruits and brine set up a tight, lemony palate that’s minerally. Apple and lemon flavors are mildly bitter prior to a lasting finish that’s firm and stony but holds on to that note of bitterness.
 
2020 Emmolo, Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, California – This wine opens on the nose with the freshness of summer rain, layered with scents of white peach and a hint of guava. It has a lively acidity with flavors of peach and honeydew. Winemaker, Jenny Wagner, is from the Wagner Wine family (Caymus, Conundrum).
 
2018 Borgo Conventi Collio Sauvignon Blanc, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy – Straw yellow in color, it displays lively greenish shades. On the nose it is vibrant and very complex. The aromas of green pepper, tomato leaf and hard peach perfectly compliment the floral scents, the mineral note of flint, and the slight hints of clary sage. This wine is elegant, has a good backbone and a long aromatic finish.
 
2017 La Petite Perrière Sauvignon Blanc, La Perriere, Sancerre, France – NEW – A crystalline robe with gold-pale reflections. On the nose, a wide range of fragrances, from vegetal with ivy and acacia to fruity with peach and lychee. A fresh start, opening for persistent mineral and fruity notes with a lingering finish on the palate.
 
2021 Rapaura Springs Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand – NEW – The nose is softly full and lifted, nuances of lime, fresh-cut herbs, melded with gooseberries, guava and white spice. Medium-light bodied, aromas of guava, lime and mango layers entwined with white spice and cut herbs. Fine-textured, chalky phenolic carry a hint of sea salt linger to linearity. This is a refined Sauvignon Blanc with well-defined layers of tropical fruit, herbs and spices.
 
2021 Hanna Sauvignon Blanc, Russian River Valley, CA – NEW – This wine has an aroma reminiscent of key lime sorbet, mango chutney, gooseberry, white clover and winter melon. Thai basil race exuberantly to the fore. Free range flavors of grapefruit and green apple flavors roam deliciously in a vintage that is very mouthfilling and characteristically succulent and seamless.
 
2020 Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, California – This rich and elegant Sauvignon Blanc was blended with Sémillon to add depth and complexity. Fermented and aged using both stainless steel and French oak, it offers ripe citrus and tropical flavors, refreshing acidity and Sémillon-driven silkiness.
 
2019 Cakebread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, California – This wine opens with vivid tropical aromas of white flowers, ripe melon and sweet citrus. The citrus and tropical characters extend onto the palate with ripe guava and crisp pink grapefruit, balanced by bright acidity. This is a zesty wine, perfect for a cheese plate!
 
2020 Stags’ Leap Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, California – NEW – This wine is lovely and bright, offering the variety’s classic citrus fruit characteristics with notes of Meyer lemon and white blossoms. On the palate, stone fruit notes of white peach, young plum, grapefruit and zesty lime peel are interwoven with hints of white jasmine and elderflower, as well as spicier ginger and white pepper notes, adding layers and depth to the round, soft texture, leading to a lengthy mouthwatering finish.
 
2020 Cade Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, California – NEW – This wine is filled with a gorgeous perfume of honeyed pears, guava, lemon grass, pink grapefruit and a waft of lemon lime soda. The palate is full of tropical flavors and delicate kiwi plus a great intensity of lemon and lime citrus flavors. The sémillon and viognier added to the blend invoke another level of complexity with flavors of orange blossom and lemon curd.
 
2012 Fattoria La Rivolta, Falanghina del Taburno, Italy – Intense straw yellow colour. Fruity aroma with pineapple and ripe pear notes. Supple in the mouth with a high aromatic persistence. The bouquet offers citrus, melon, pear and dirty mineral notes. The palate is fresh, tonic and plenty zesty.
 
2019 Shades of Blue Riesling, Mosel, Germany – With fragrant aromas of tropical and stone fruits, this semi-dry Riesling balances ripe fruit notes with a crisp citrus finish. It is a refreshing Riesling that is not overly sweet. It is from the Mosel region in Germany.
 
2019 Red Tail Ridge Good Karma Riesling, Finger Lakes, New York – This 100% Riesling yields tangerine, sweet citrus notes and orange blossom on the nose. Layers of stone-fruit mingle with grapefruit and melon, finishing with soft lemon.
 
2019 Pierre Sparr, Alsace Riesling, France – This pale yellow Riesling has green reflections. The wine opens slowly to reveal layers of citrus fruits, framed by wet stone and mineral character. On the palate, freshness and elegance dominate this bone-dry wine.
 
2018 Reichsrat Von Buhl Riesling, Germany – NEW – The nose is filled with apples, lime and a hint of pineapples, with a fresh balancing limestone style minerality. On the palate the wine has crisp citrus flavors combined with a very elegant and fresh acidity with medium dryness.
 
2011 Trimbach, Riesling, Alsace, France – NEW – This is the very definition of the Alsace Riesling, well anchored in the dry and balanced Trimbach style. It shines with its elegant liveliness, crunchiness and notes of white flowers and citrus fruits leading to a minerally finish.
 
2019 Domaine Zind Humbrecht, Gewurztraminer, France – The nose is not quite exuberant, but powerful enough to satisfy all the Gewurz lovers around the world, exhibiting intense spicy aromas like pepper, ginger. The palate is quite big, with a mouth-filling texture and a soft, almost dry finish. The tannins play a great role in this wine, almost completely hiding the small amount of residual sweetness.
 
2020 DeLille Cellars, Roussanne, Washington State – This is an aromatic wine full of juicy lime and honeysuckle blossom showing both vibrant and delicate qualities free from any oak intervention. Single Vineyard – usually an estate-only wine so we are fortunate to have this wine in the bar.
 
2018 M. Chapoutier, Viognier, France – The color is pale gold with aniseed-coloured highlights. On the nose it is delicate with notes of bergamot and flint stone. Fresh on the entry, mid-palate, there is good balance between the acidic tension associated with its soil of origin. Expect tastes of apricots and peaches with a slightly smoky, sherbert-like texture.
 
2019 Mendel Semillon, Mendoza, Argentina – Enjoy fresh, clean citric and herbal notes. Flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, coconut, and caramel are elegant and soft on the palate. A lovely dose of crisp acidity provides a texture similar to that of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc combined. A super dry and clean finish.

2018 Michel Redde Et Fils, Sancerre Les Tuilières, Sancerre, France – Expect notes of lychee, pineapple, and passion fruit with underlying tones of pear and peaches. The typical minerally notes carry into the elegant finish with a round palate with hints of salinity.
 
2020 Gérard Boulay Sancerre, France – This Sauvignon Blanc is racy and very complex. Initially, you’ll find bright citrus and herbal notes, yet it opens to melon, pink grapefruit and a light spice of white pepper and minerals. The palate is wonderfully acidic, yet still lush and balanced.
 
2020 Donnafugatam Sicilia Lighea, Sicily, Italy – NEW – This wine has a bright straw yellow color with greenish hues. The nose offers a rich and fragrant bouquet where the classic notes of orange blossom are combined with citrus hints (cedar and bergamot) and exotic fruit (lychee). On the palate the fruity and floral notes resurface accompanied by a marked freshness, with good persistence and a pleasant mineral finish.
 
M*A*N Chenin Blanc, South Africa – NEW – A crisp, expressive, light-bodied wine. Light straw in appearance. Vibrant aromas of quince, pear and pineapple. On the palate, fresh stone fruit and apple flavors are backed by refreshing acidity, minerality and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Nose of honeyed baked apple and lemon peel, pears and hints of pineapple. Generous and exotic with expressive fruit.
 
Principessa Gavia Gavi DOCG, Tuscany, Italy – NEW – 100% Cortese grapes.This wine is pale-straw in color with a bouquet that is intense and fresh and with aromas of pineapple and green apple. On the palate it is well-balanced, with gentle acidity and a delicate, dry finish. This wine is named after a princess who followed her heart and ran off with her guard. Her father found them, saw their love and named his wine after her.
Round, Rich and Ripe White Wines
2011 Fattoria La Rivolta, Sogno di Rivolta Bianchi, Campania Italy – This full bodied white wine has an intense yellow color. Honey and ripe pear flavors are complemented by the oaky finish. It contains Falanghina, Fiano, and Greco grapes but is similar to a chardonnay.
 
2020 Domaine Bousquet Chardonnay, Tupungato, Alto Gualtallary, Argentina – (unoacked) This wine has impressively ripe fruit aromas with plenty of peaches and nectarines, flowing to the smooth, fleshy palate that carries a juicy, rich build to the ripe-peach finish. From organically grown grapes.
 
2019 Mas La Chevalière, Chardonnay, Languedoc-Roussillon, France – NEW – (unoaked) This Chardonnay is a clear pale straw color. It has strong citrusy aromas on the nose, with yellow-fruit richness. The palate offers bright flavors of green apple and white pear with a good balance and aromatic finish. La Chevalière means the “knights lady”.
 
2019 Twenty Acres Bogle Chardonnay, California – NEW – (oaked) This wine has expressive aromas and flavors of fresh green apples and pears. The addition of Chenin Blanc, a variety the vineyard began growing in 1968, adds honeysuckle and floral aromatics, bright melon flavors, and crisp acidity. Oak aging and lees stirring impart hints of toasty vanilla and caramel notes, along with a rich texture.
 
2020 Raeburn Chardonnay, Russian River Valley, California – (oaked) This Chardonnay shows an array of complex fruit tones ranging from pear and Gravenstein apple to nectarine. The fruit is beautifully complemented with toasted oak, vanilla and hints of Creme Brulee with a balanced and elegant finish.
 
2019 Charles Woodson’s Intercept Chardonnay, California – (oaked) 2019 Intercept Chardonnay is medium-bodied with notes of spiced apples, citrus, and biscuit. Rich from barrel fermentation and sur lie aging, the wine has bright acidity with a lingering toasty oak finish.
 
2019 Joseph Drouhin Saint-Veran Chardonnay, Burgundy, France – (unoaked) Stylistically close to Pouilly-Fuisse, this buttery, complex wine begins with aromas of ripe Chardonnay grape with subtle notes of musk. A pleasant roundness coats the palate.
 
2019 Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranch Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, California – (oaked) This wine is beautifully focused on the palate with flavors of crisp, zesty lemon, green apple, lime and barrel spice. It rounds out with their signature citrus acidity and a nicely balanced long, flavorful finish.
 
2020 Les Vignerons de Florensac Chardonnay, France – NEW – (unoaked) A concentrated and complex nose combining aromas of exotic fruits (pineapple) and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is full- bodied, velvety and expresses aromas of fruit (citrus, pineapple) before a supple and buttery finish. Stainless steel aged.
 
2017 The Lioness, Chardonnay, Napa Valley, California – NEW – (oaked) The Lioness represents Hess’s biggest, boldest style of Chardonnay while paying tribute to the women of the family. This chardonnay is aged in oak. It has scents of mangoes, pineapple tart, peach cobbler along with spice cake and toasted almonds. The lush texture is offset by a backbone of freshness with a long finish. (One of Mary Kate’s favorites).
 
J Lohr 2020 October Night Chardonnay, Arroyo Seco, Monterey County, CA – (oaked) This unique Chardonnay blend provides balanced and complex flavors of ripe orange, orange marmalade, and white peaches, with a rich mid-palate and a hint of toasted oak on the long finish. Aged in French Oak, 40% new wood.
 
2018 Les Tourelles de la Creé, Montagny Premier Cru, France – (oaked) Our Montagny Premier Cru comes from 100% Chardonnay fruit grown in the limestone-rich soils that make Montagny the most highly regarded region for Chardonnay in Burgundy Côte Chalonnaise. This wine is fresh and fruit driven with floral hints of honey suckle, and delicate expressions of apple, pear, and pure stone fruit tendencies.
 
2019 Beringer Chardonnay, Napa Valley, California – NEW – (oaked) Delightfully luscious, bright and crisp, with aromas and flavors of vibrant lemon citrus and tropical notes of pineapple, white pear, juicy Golden Delicious apple and a hint of lemon meringue, sea salt caramel and butterscotch. Mouth-watering with fresh acidity, leading to a long savory dry finish with white pepper spice and clove from the oak influence.
 
2019 Far Niente Chardonnay, Napa Valley, California – (oaked) This wine has the classic Far Niente style with aromas of grilled citrus, melon and honeysuckle with hints of white fig, gardenia and toasted hazelnuts, background of mild toasted oak that adds supportive warmth and richness. Possessing great structure and length, a sweet core of melon and citrus is supported by white floral and toasted vanilla and baking spice notes.
 
2019 Hanna Chardonnay, Russian River Valley, California- NEW – (oaked) Offering at first a demure, sotto voce freshness, the 2019 Chardonnay’s volume rises into a chorus of baked apples, lemon curd, nutmeg, and vanilla. The freshness and harmony segue into flavors of Meyer lemon, crisp Gravenstein apple and freshly grated turmeric. The palate is weighty without being ponderous.
 
2019 Cakebread Cellars Chardonnay, Carneros, California – (oaked) This wine opens with aromas of ripe golden apple, white peach, and notes of oak. On the palate you will find apple and pear characters that are balanced by fresh acidity. The finish is clean with appealing mineral notes.
 
2018 Domaine Serene, Chardonnay Evenstad Reserve – 96 Points, Willamette Valley, Oregon – (oaked) Impressive complexity and poise from the outset with aromas of sliced peach and nectarine, as well as pear and honeydew. Some wet stones, too. The palate has impressive fluidity with intense, fleshy pears and white peaches, threaded with a savory, toasted-hazelnut edge.
 
2019 Louis Latour Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay, Burgundy, France – NEW – (Unoaked) Of a gold color with green nuances, this Pouilly-Fuissé unveils nice almond aromas on the nose. The mouth is round and balanced with enjoyable fruitiness revealing exotic fruits aromas and savory spices. The finish is very fresh and pleasant.
 
Wine Fact: Chablis is made from Chardonnay Grapes from the Chablis region in France.
 
2019 Domaine Laroche Chablis, St. Martin, France – A lifted intensity of lemon and hazelnut on this wine’s subtle nose promises concentration. 2020 Submission Pinot Noir, Napa, California – NEW – This wine is bright ruby red in color, highlighting notes of raspberries, cranberries and bing cherries with nuances of lavender and red roses. The palate is full and firm, with soft tannins and vibrant red fruit, leading to a soft, elegant and perfumed finish.
 
2020 Angels Ink Cuvee Pinot Noir, Livermore Valley, California – Sourced from premier vineyards across the Central Coast, Angels Ink Pinot Noir is rich, round and supple in texture. Fruit-forward with an integrated oak presence, the wine delights the palate with a crush of berry and a vanilla-backed juiciness that encompasses its overall personality.
 
2019 Browne Site Series Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon – NEW – This elegant Pinot Noir presents aromas of deep red cherry, orange peel, and plum. It opens to a palate of dark, brambly cane berries and a touch of french oak. The texture is luscious with silky-soft tannins and the acidity perfectly balances the fruit.

2018 François Labet Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Bourgogne, France – NEW – Focused aromas of deep red fruit with earthy notes. 2008 Fattoria La Rivolta, Terra di Rivolta Aglianico del Taburno Riserva –Made only from Aglianico grapes, this wine has a concentrated and impenetrable ruby-garnet color. The aroma is complex and a little shy, opening with black cherry and prune to then shift towards violet, red rose and licorice. The flavor is taut and full-bodied with high tannins similar to a Nebbiolo.

2018 Penfold Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz, Barossa Valley, Australia – Bin 389 was often referred to as ‘Baby Grange’, in part because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange. On the nose this bright, crimson red may offer layers of custard, port-wine, dark jelly, flaked coconut, and juniper.
